A Tribute to My Beloved Husband, Colin Budgey As I reflect on the life of my dear husband, Colin, I am overwhelmed with a mixture of sorrow and gratitude. Colin was a man of quiet strength, unwavering kindness, and boundless love. He brought so much joy to my life and to the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know him. His love for his daughter, son, grandchildren, and stepfamily was endless and profound, a testament to the caring and generous spirit that defined him. In this incredibly difficult time, I have found comfort in the kindness and generosity of friends who have shown their love and support in countless ways. My heartfelt thanks go to Carmen Smith, Rachel Umali, Tessie and Larry Kyan, Odette, and Colin’s daughter, Helen, for their thoughtful donations to Farleigh Hospice, amounting to £80. Your acts of kindness mean more to me than words can express, and I know Colin would have been deeply touched by your generosity. Colin cherished family, friendship, and the simple yet profound joys of life. He had a remarkable ability to bring people together, and his warmth and humour lit up every room he entered. Though he is no longer with us in person, the memories we shared—the laughter, the love, and the moments that defined our life together—will forever remain in my heart.
